About the Role
As a Store Manager, you will oversee store operations and bring our brand promise to life: to offer a fun, fashion-centered, and affordable shopping experience to our communities. Store Managers are committed to helping drive Crossroads' values by creating an inclusive environment where all feel welcome to enjoy a second-hand shopping and selling experience.
Responsibilities
- Embody an entrepreneurial spirit, learning everything from buying, merchandising, and inventory practices.
- Gain and maintain the trust of a customer base.
- Motivate, coach, and help their team succeed on the sales floor.
- Recognize, draw in, and motivate talented individuals to join the team.
- Develop business strategies to grow the customer base, increase store traffic, and optimize sales.
- Meet new people daily and lead by example by greeting each customer with a smile.
- Create a welcoming, fun, and inclusive environment to shop and work in.
- Prioritize and delegate tasks to run the store efficiently.
- Guide the team to help customers learn how the store works and try selling.
- Mentor and coach team members in developing their skills using training tools and growth plans.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with your manager.
- Find creative ways to enhance customer experience, employee engagement, and overall store performance.
- Act with integrity in words and actions.
- Connect with all customers and try best to help them.
- Show up to work on time and ready to go.
- Support the team and customer as needed by adapting to changing circumstances.
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail management as a Lead Manager managing a team of 15+ employees (2 years+).
- Extensive fashion knowledge including familiarity with labels, brands, designers and current trends.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
