About the Role
You will contribute to protecting embedded and interconnected systems whose compromise could affect flight safety. The work is technical and concrete, focused on risk analysis and vulnerability analysis. You will work under the guidance of a senior resource who will support your skill development and learning in the aeronautics domain.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to technical and quantitative cybersecurity risk analyses on embedded and interconnected systems, evaluating the probability of an attacker reaching a critical system.
- Analyze entry points, trust zones, attack surfaces, and data flows to identify threat scenarios.
- Perform vulnerability and CVE exposure analyses, and prioritize fixes based on criticality.
- Contribute to defining security measures that reduce the probability of attack.
- Write technical documentation and clearly communicate progress and roadblocks.
Requirements
- Approximately 3 to 4 years of relevant technical cybersecurity experience.
- Good understanding of technical and quantitative cybersecurity risk analysis, including probability, impact, and security measures logic.
- Understanding of embedded and interconnected systems architectures.
- Initial experience in vulnerability analysis and CVEs.
- Technical curiosity, strong learning ability, and ease in assimilating dense documentation.
- Rigor, autonomy, and good communication skills.
- Bilingualism in French and English: documentation in English, meetings in both languages.
- NATO country citizenship (Canada, USA, or European member country) required due to export control of mandate data.
- Ability to work from Canada.
- Openness to collaboration with teams in France, including occasional morning meetings.
