About the Role
Guidewire is seeking a Technical Program Manager for its Security organization to lead critical security programs aligned with the company's security maturity strategy. This role involves driving complex, high-impact security programs by partnering with Product, Engineering, and Enterprise teams. The ideal candidate will understand security risks, product and platform context, and process efficiency, with a keen eye on how AI can enhance security and mitigate new risks. This role reports to the Director of Security Customer Success.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex and cloud-scale technical security programs to meet Guidewire’s business objectives
- Define and lead roadmap execution for critical security functions and programs
- Evaluate program design, tooling and workflows through an AI lens, identifying where AI and automation can reduce manual effort and improve outcomes across the security organization
- Champion responsible adoption of AI within the Security organization including AI assisted program management, reporting, and analysis in your own work
- Develop strong partnerships and feedback loops with leaders and stakeholders across the organization
- Lead with data and promote a culture of metrics driven decision-making, while holding stakeholders accountable
- Be a thought leader to drive strategic change and help advance our security maturity, including how AI is reshaping the security landscape
- Communicate effectively verbally and in written form, both internal and external stakeholders including execs, engineering leads, consultants, and vendors
Requirements
- Pragmatic security expert and a hands-on technical program manager
- Genuinely curious about AI and actively use AI tools in your daily work, stay current on AI capabilities and default to asking “how can AI improve this?” when evaluating any program, process or problem
- Understand emerging and tried and tested security technology including AI enabled security technology and how it applies to both cloud products and an enterprise environment
- Open minded and comfortable with ambiguity as AI rapidly changes the security landscape, and can distinguish genuine AI value from hype
- Evangelize proactive security within the organization and educate and influence stakeholders in building a secure environment, including secure and responsible AI adoption
- Enjoy working on hard problems with no clear answers and can work with SMEs to design, scope, and iterate to create prototypes to demonstrate value
- Experience driving security programs for a cloud company and its practical applications
- Understand the value of efficient processes and constantly look to improve them for productive scaling, leveraging automation and AI where it drives measurable benefit

Salary/Compensations
