  • Develop and execute long-term audience growth strategies across YouTube, connected TV, FAST, podcast, and social video platforms.
  • Build pathways from open-platform viewing to deeper engagement, registration, and subscription.
  • Serve as the network's primary liaison with YouTube and other strategic platforms, translating insights into programming and monetization decisions.
  • Build the audience flywheel connecting various content formats and cross-promotion.
  • Establish packaging as a repeatable creative discipline, setting standards for titles, thumbnails, and hooks.
  • Work directly with producers, editors, and talent to translate audience insights into stronger content.
  • Lead a rigorous testing program for packaging and format iteration.
  • Partner with the Head of Programming to integrate audience sizing, competitive analysis, and format-market fit into the greenlight process.
  • Set and lead the video monetization strategy across advertising, sponsorships, integrations, FAST, and licensing.
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to determine revenue models and balance near-term revenue with audience growth.
  • Build the subscription-funnel strategy from viewing to paid subscriber.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Data, and subscription teams to create and test pathways to subscription.
  • Define metrics and reporting cadence for leadership, making data accessible and actionable.
  • Build the audience and distribution function as the business scales.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in audience development, platform strategy, digital-video growth, or monetization.

  • Experience within a major platform, sophisticated creator-led company, or a publisher with significant digital-video scale.
  • Expert fluency in YouTube discovery and performance.
  • Working knowledge of connected TV and FAST platforms.
  • Accountability for business outcomes, fluency in revenue metrics (RPM, CPM, sell-through) and audience metrics (retention curves, thumbnail tests).
  • Experience working directly with on-camera talent and creator partners on positioning, packaging, and performance.
  • Collaborative style, with experience building revenue models alongside sales and product teams.
  • Fluency across the creator economy and established media.
  • Diplomatic skill to navigate between different industry sectors.
  • Understanding of operating in an editorially serious environment.
