About the Role

Challenger School is seeking enthusiastic, intelligent individuals to join the middle school teams at our Austin campuses as a part-time teacher. This role could become a full-time position with training included. As a teacher at Challenger, you will teach individual responsibility, self-confidence, and independence alongside science and math. Our classes are fast paced, fun, and have a proven curriculum already in place.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly learn Challenger’s curriculum, teaching methods, and philosophy
Maintain a safe and productive classroom environment
Prepare lesson plans and teach daily classes
Grade daily student homework assignments
Consistently attend required training and teaching days
Communicate regularly with parents and administrators on student progress
Work patiently with students, parents, and coworkers
