About the Role

Plan and execute assigned orders to exceed customer expectations, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain profitability. Works as part of the electronics warehouse to supervise warehouse functions including loading, unloading, and storing freight to meet customer and warehouse requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehousing activities, including receiving, inspection, shipping, wireless inventory control, and data entry.
• Optimize electronics warehouse space for maximum efficiency.
• Manage warehouse property, including supplies, equipment, and facilities.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
• Maintain forklift certification files in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Manage van equipment.
• Ensure warehouse and facility compliance with Military Standards.
• Handle freight properly to maximize efficiency and exceed customer expectations.
• Manage inventories to ensure protection of customer goods, equipment, and facilities.
• Identify and report problems to management.
• Complete all necessary paperwork associated with freight handling.
• Supervise daily warehouse operations.
• Supervise warehouse workers to maximize efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of warehouse supervision experience.
• Proficient in loading, unloading, receiving, and paperwork management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with automated WMS systems.
• Forklift and bar coding experience required.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Positive communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Must be organized.
• Proven track record of working effectively in a team environment and autonomously.
• Self-starter.
• Hands-on working supervisor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn asset scanning system.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Very organized and able to work in a timely manner.
• Team oriented and personally committed to continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to interface effectively and positively with all members of the organization.
