About the Role
San Francisco Fire Protection is seeking experienced Sr. Fire Alarm Technicians to join our team during an exciting growth phase in a rapidly expanding industry. We are looking for motivated, self-driven individuals seeking a long-term career in the Bay Area.
Responsibilities
- Servicing, inspecting, and testing fire alarm systems to prescribed standards.
- Performing on-site emergency troubleshooting.
- Programming and repairing customer fire alarm systems.
- Identifying code and non-conformance issues.
- Preparing accurate and timely service tickets and reports.
- Installation of fire alarm systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Fire Alarm systems.
- Experience with CCTV, Intrusion systems, and Access Control is a plus.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
- Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices.
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
- Ability to work in difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements.
- Demonstrates a high level of customer service, strong organization skills, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs.
- Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
