About the Role
As a Hospitality Associate at Chelsea Piers Fitness, you will be the first and last impression for every member, playing a crucial role in creating a positive and impactful member experience. This is a unique opportunity to join the founding team of our new Hudson Square location and help establish the Chelsea Piers Fitness brand of hospitality from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent 5-star hospitality in line with Chelsea Piers Standards of Excellence and the High Five Approach.
- Create moments of genuine connection, recognition, and warmth in every interaction.
- Welcome every member, prospective member, and guest warmly, using names when possible.
- Master member systems for smooth check-ins, class arrivals, and guest experiences.
- Answer phones and member questions with energy, empathy, and ownership.
- Support shift-specific needs including front desk, concierge, marketing, or street team activations.
- Monitor facilities, locker rooms, events, and personal training sessions, submitting tickets as needed.
- Maintain security awareness.
- Resolve issues and know when to escalate.
- Collaborate with all departments, including sales and operations.
Requirements
