About the Role
Clarity Care is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Caregivers, supporting individuals with varying abilities to lead independent lives. This role is crucial in empowering individuals through personalized programs and ensuring they receive high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assists with the day-to-day operations of the group home.
- Provides direct care support to members with disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, hygiene).
- Utilizes mobility devices and practices safe transfer and ambulation techniques.
- Teaches and guides members in achieving their goals through self-direction and decision making.
- Completes all applicable documentation related to assigned tasks.
- Maintains a safe, sanitary, and welcoming group home environment through housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Prepares and serves meals according to nutritional guidelines and individual dietary needs.
- Assists, escorts, and supports members during social and recreational activities.
Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma/equivalent and/or related work/life experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid WI driver's license and meet agency driving standards.
- Must provide proof of auto insurance.
- Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check, including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks and/or checks of previous states of residence.
