About the Role
Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the incumbent plays a key role in ensuring efficient merchandise replenishment and the proper storage of boxes to support smooth and timely order preparation.
Responsibilities
- Palletize and properly and safely place merchandise on shelves
- Refill merchandise in item locations
- Transport and place merchandise in designated areas
- Have missing items verified by the responsible person at the computer
- Obtain a purchase order via scanner and pick the corresponding items; for each order, verify size, color, style, and SKU of selected products
- Pack items into boxes and properly label completed boxes
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the assigned section of the distribution center
- Perform a variety of related tasks as needed to support daily operations and contribute where help is required
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or order preparation (an asset)
- Comfortable using technological tools (scanner, computer system)
