About the Role
We are building a practice in Berlin that will become an outpatient private clinic for musculoskeletal and functional medicine. You will build the conservative orthopedic department, with the possibility of your own training authorization.
Responsibilities
- You will take over specialist diagnostics, indication setting, and therapy planning for musculoskeletal complaints.
- You will perform conservative and interventional procedures yourself: musculoskeletal sonography, infiltrations and injections, manual medicine, shock wave therapy.
- You will manage the treatment process over the entire cycle—diagnostics, intervention, retest, coaching—and adjust the plan based on measurable results, not gut feeling.
- You will prescribe and manage the work of our interdisciplinary team and retain professional responsibility for the case.
- You will develop treatment pathways and standards for your area with us—including which outcome parameters we collect.
- Optional: Development of training capacity, professional external representation, cooperation with clubs and companies.
Requirements
- Recognition as a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery or orthopedics, German medical license.
- Proficiency in musculoskeletal sonography and infiltrative procedures.
- A genuine conviction that conservative medicine is more than just what is done before surgery.
- Enjoyment of longer appointments, structured documentation, and working according to jointly developed standards.
- Intrinsic motivation to help shape the medicine of the future: outcome-based, digital, and networked.
- Enthusiasm for an interdisciplinary team—and for delegating tasks instead of doing everything yourself.
