About the Role
As a co-op student at S&C Electric Canada, you will work on meaningful projects that support our operations and provide hands-on experience in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Join S&C to make an impact on tomorrow’s energy challenges!
Responsibilities
- Work on plant layout updates and preparation of work instructions.
- Assist in CAPEX projects with Project/Manufacturing Engineers.
- Conduct process studies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work alongside designers and engineers to create and improve fixtures.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a registered post-secondary co-op program in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering.
- Available for a 4-month co-op placement for the Winter 2027 (Jan. - Apr.) Work Term.
- Good understanding of VBA & Python.
- Some CAD experience in Solid Edge, Solid Works or AutoCAD.
- Some experience working with machines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs.
