About the Role
As a co-op student, you will work on meaningful projects that support our operations and give you hands-on experience in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. Join S&C to make an impact on tomorrow’s energy challenges!
Responsibilities
- Upgrade and maintain process software used for MES design and production control, which is developed with Visual Basic.
- Assist the engineering team in preparing drawings and wiring diagrams as needed.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree program in an Electrical or Computer Engineering.
- Enrolled and eligible for a 4-month co-op term starting in Winter 2027 (Jan. - Apr.).
- Self-starter with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fast learner with an aptitude for learning other company-specific software.
- Proficient with Microsoft software, specifically Excel, Word and MS Project.
- Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace. May involve standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs and lifting/moving/using objects or equipment up to 20lbs.
- Acceptable working environment with minor or almost no disagreeable or challenging working conditions as part of everyday expected levels.
