About the Role
Develop and maintain relationships with consulting engineers, design-build firms, hyperscalers, and colocation providers to unlock and grow business opportunities across the EMEA region, aligning with the EMEA data center strategy. Increase market penetration with existing customers, influence technical specifications, and position JCI as a preferred partner by leveraging Johnson Controls' comprehensive portfolio of building technologies and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including consulting firms, general contractors, hyperscalers, and colocation providers.
- Develop and implement account plans to increase market share and pipeline within assigned accounts.
- Conduct customer presentations and position as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
- Collaborate closely with sales, operations, and regional teams to support project acquisition and successful project execution.
- Utilize Salesforce, Altify, and other sales tools to manage pipelines, account plans, and customer activities.
- Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to management.
- Support pre-tender, tender, and post-award activities, and maintain regular customer contact through business reviews and innovation workshops.
- Promote the use of the entire JCI portfolio of building solutions, including building automation, energy management, fire and security systems, security solutions, digital services, and smart building technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or equivalent qualification or professional experience.
- Proven success in technical or solution-oriented sales in a B2B environment with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
- Consultative sales approach with the ability to influence customer decisions and build long-term relationships.
- Experience working independently within a matrix organization.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
