About the Role

This role involves operating heavy-duty cranes on railway construction projects across Germany, requiring precision and technical skill. The company offers a stable work environment with a focus on employee well-being and development.

Responsibilities

Operate various types of railway rotary cranes independently based on training and instructions.
Perform machine operations on both closed and active tracks, within the danger zones of DB AG and other railway administrations.
Work on construction sites domestically and internationally.
Carry out repair work on track construction machinery as instructed.
Perform independent maintenance and care for the operated railway rotary cranes.
Operate tools and machinery for maintaining the operational readiness of railway rotary cranes, such as drilling machines and cutting grinders.

Requirements

Technical or craft-based training is advantageous, e.g., as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, electronics technician, or comparable qualification.
Alternatively, be a trained crane operator or a driver of heavy auxiliary railway vehicles.
Possess a valid train driver's license.
First professional experience in the railway sector or in crane operation is desirable, but motivated career starters with the right attitude are also welcome.
Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, engine technology, and metal processing is advantageous.
German language proficiency: C1 level.
Valid driver's license class B.
Willingness to travel throughout Germany and flexibility for planned weekend or night shifts.
Ideally reside in the greater Berlin, Brandenburg, Cottbus, Guben, or Leipzig area for carpooling.
