Responsibilities
- Contribute to software-enabled solutions deployed to customers, optimizing for end-user value.
- Contribute to the design and development of existing software services.
- Develop software for robotic platforms using various technologies.
- Contribute to robotic software and hardware, including full lifecycle testing, monitoring, and operation.
- Contribute to test and simulation fixtures with software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
- Support product manufacturing and deployment.
- Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
Requirements
- Pursuing tertiary education in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Approaching final year at the time of the internship.
- Familiarity with algorithms, data structures, concurrency, testing, and robotics engineering at an undergraduate level.
- Experience writing software with C++, C, Rust, or Python.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
- Highly motivated learner with a desire for rapid growth in capacity and skills.
- Naturally curious, high ownership, and a bias for action.
