About the Role
We are looking for a Workshop Facilitator (m/f/d) to conduct nationwide workshops on democracy promotion and extremism prevention for young people and young adults at educational institutions, following the MIND method. This role also involves developing concepts and content for workshops and training sessions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nationwide workshops on democracy promotion and extremism prevention for young people and young adults at educational institutions according to the MIND method.
- Prepare and follow up on workshops, including documenting the workshop process using a developed questionnaire.
- Conduct nationwide training sessions focused on democracy promotion, extremism, and Islamism prevention for pedagogical and psychosocial professionals, utilizing a train-the-trainer approach.
- Develop concepts, workshop, and training content.
Requirements
- Completed university or college degree in Social Work, Educational Sciences, Psychology, or a comparable field, or a completed vocational training in a comparable area.
- Professional experience in pedagogical work with young people.
- Self-reflection and willingness to incorporate personal biography into workshops.
- Willingness to travel extensively, as workshops and training sessions typically take place nationwide from Tuesday to Thursday.
- Intercultural competencies and enjoyment of working with diverse individuals.
- Friendliness, humor, and a winning personality.
- Flexibility in dealing with different target groups and situations.
- Very good German language skills and ideally additional language skills (e.g., Arabic, Turkish, Russian, Persian, or Spanish).
