About the Role
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a talented Technician to join one of our UK offices, contributing to the design of exciting civil engineering projects. You will prepare 2D and 3D/BIM models, drawings, and technical reports, working across sectors like Highways & Active Travel and Infrastructure & Masterplanning. We offer accredited professional development programs and support for professional accreditations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical inputs for highways specialism, including design drawings and 2D/3D models.
- Demonstrate technical competence using software such as Civils 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possess appropriate experience in the design of development infrastructure projects.
- Maintain a strong understanding of civil engineering design principles.
- Collaborate with the team to produce a range of technical design and written deliverables.
- Utilize knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets, and local authority specific standards.
- Work within a multidisciplinary environment across a matrix of projects.
Requirements
- Gained strong practical experience in a Civil Engineering role within a design consultancy environment.
- Well-versed in relevant civil design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment, operating across a matrix of projects.
