About the Role
The Research Scientist I – Analytical Laboratory executes laboratory experiments in support of new product development and renovation projects under supervision. This role provides analytical services to support process and product development, cost reduction, and manufacturing technical services.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute routine laboratory analyses for new product development and renovations.
- Conduct laboratory tests using standard instrumentation and methodologies.
- Support method development for new equipment, methods, tests, and procedures.
- Assess requirements and coordinate analyses to meet deadlines.
- Communicate experimental results to internal departments.
- Consult technical resources to gain knowledge and develop new methodologies.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure quality and compliance with Lactalis Quality and Food Safety standards.
Requirements
- University degree or College Diploma in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
