About the Role
This role is for a relentless problem-solver who thinks on their feet and can handle unexpected challenges on job sites. You will be the final point of contact for clients, representing the company's reputation through your execution and attitude. The company provides training for specific carpentry skills and installation systems, but expects hustle, common sense, spatial awareness, and a drive for efficient, high-quality work.
Responsibilities
- Take custom storage designs and turn them into physical reality.
- Perform tasks requiring heavy lifting, basic framing, and finishing work.
- Load up, route your day, and troubleshoot issues independently.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, keeping them updated.
- Relay critical information rapidly back to designers and managers.
- Adapt to on-the-fly adjustments needed for wonky walls or designs.
- Ensure efficient execution and completion of jobs on schedule.
- Maintain a clean worksite, leaving no trace of sawdust or scattered tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in installation, construction, or a related hands-on, problem-solving field.
- Exceptional communication skills, including calming client nerves and explaining job requirements.
- Highly comfortable with hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication techniques.
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to regularly lift 50-75 pounds safely on a job site.
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Resourcefulness and ability to adapt to changing job site conditions.
