About the Role
As a Barback in our iconic venues, you'll keep our venue fully stocked and bar operations running smoothly. You'll stock and clean the bar and perform related tasks to increase the efficiency and productivity of the bartending team in a high-volume, music-fueled environment. As the ideal candidate, you're fast, friendly, and focused, understanding that every shift is about delivering unforgettable experiences.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and stock bars, concession stands, and satellite locations for events by replenishing ice, beverages, kegs, plasticware, and other supplies based on par levels.
- Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked work areas throughout events.
- Communicate daily entertainment and upcoming events in venue.
- Keep beverage storage areas clean and organized at all times.
- Assist with inventory, product rotation (FIFO), and date labeling to ensure fresh products are readily available for preparation.
- Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles.
- Make sure trash receptacles are clean and odor-free.
- Keep guest facing areas clear of debris.
- Ensure responsible alcohol service per local ordinance, alcohol awareness training and company policies.
- Attend pre-shift meetings.
- Perform defined opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
- Comply with all company issued steps of service.
- Follow all corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs.
- Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years' related experience
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Basic mathematical skills required
- Demonstrated team player and self-starter
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs
- State Alcohol Education Card required upon hire
- Speak and hear to communicate effectively and use near, distance, and color vision to process inventory.
- Stand and walk for extended periods, while carrying items.
- Regularly lift/carry up to 50 lbs., and frequently sit, kneel, bend, and reach to move goods.
- Manual dexterity for tasks such as using a computer and handling merchandise.
