About the Role
Support the Store Manager in building a confident team that is passionate about the product, embedding strong product knowledge and using storytelling to bring fragrances to life, inspire customers and drive commercial results.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in bringing the Yankee Candle® brand to life in store, helping set the standard for how the brand is represented by every member of the team
- Help create and uphold a service culture that goes beyond the transactional, encouraging the team to create genuine connections, memorable moments and lasting impressions
- Build confidence and product knowledge across the team, helping colleagues turn product knowledge into engaging storytelling that inspires customers
- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing the store team, contributing to a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture
- Lead with energy and focus on the shop floor, keeping standards high and the team motivated when trade is at its busiest
- Support commercial performance by using sales, customer and people insights to identify opportunities and help drive results
- Help maintain exceptional standards across merchandising, presentation, stock, compliance and the overall customer environment
- Act quickly on opportunities and challenges, taking responsibility for finding practical solutions and supporting the Store Manager in delivering them
- Help create a store people want to visit, a team people want to join and an environment that reflects the quality and heritage of Yankee Candle®
Requirements
- An experienced retail leader who knows how to support a team, set standards and bring others with them
- Passionate about exceptional service and able to coach a team to create memorable customer experiences
- Naturally curious about products and confident turning knowledge into engaging stories that customers remember
- A positive team builder who contributes to a collaborative and accountable culture
- Energised by fast-paced retail and comfortable taking the lead when the store is busy
- Commercially aware, with the confidence to understand performance information and turn it into action
- Hands-on, visible and happy to lead from the shop floor
- Ambitious, positive and excited by the opportunity to grow with the brand
