About the Role
Affinity FCU is seeking a Relationship Specialist to join their team at the Stony Point, NY branch, focusing on providing exceptional financial support and advice to members.
Responsibilities
- Building member relationships through consultative and educational financial support and advice.
- Opening new accounts.
- Enrolling new members during initial consultation.
- Processing applications.
- Resolving complex member issues.
- Following up with members to ensure satisfaction with current products and services.
- Inquiring about members' future needs.
Requirements
- Must be technologically savvy, especially with self-service options.
- Must stay informed about evolving consumer needs and trends.
- Must adapt well to new or non-traditional environments.
- Must display a commitment to the community, increasing member engagement, and Affinity’s corporate objectives.
- Previous sales/customer service experience is essential.
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Employment offers are contingent upon satisfactory proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Must not have been convicted of a criminal offense involving dishonesty, breach of trust, or money laundering, or have admitted to, pleaded guilty or nolo contendere to such an offense, or agreed to enter into a pretrial diversion or similar program in connection with a prosecution of such an offense.
- Must undergo a drug urine screening check.
- Must undergo a criminal history background check and credit report check.
- Must comply with all requests for additional testing at any time during employment.
