About the Role

Edge Academy London is building a new kind of primary education provision where every child achieves genuine academic mastery, intelligent systems surface gaps in real time, afternoons build courage, communication and entrepreneurial thinking, and one educator knows each child deeply. We are looking for founding KS2 Educators with an appetite for innovation to help bring this model to life.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain clear KS2 progression pathways
Define mastery benchmarks and non-negotiables
Use live data to identify and close gaps quickly
Deliver short, sharp, high-impact workshops
Ensure automaticity, depth and secondary readiness
Lead structured, high-energy life-skills workshops
Coach every child to speak with clarity and confidence
Develop resilience, ownership and goal-setting
Facilitate projects culminating in tangible outputs
Build a culture where effort and excellence are unmistakable

Requirements

Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum
Experience across Years 3–6
Able to design progression and identify conceptual gaps
Confident using data and assessment intelligently
Strong presence and clarity of communication
Comfortable leading groups dynamically
Able to motivate without micromanagement
You hold high standards - calmly and consistently
You believe children are capable of far more than typical pacing assumes
You are comfortable with ambition
You think logically and act decisively
