About the Role
The scope of this role involves managing the indirect spend for clients within the Professional Services category, with a focus on Consultancy/Advisory services. The individual will be responsible for all Professional Services subcategory sourcing, including Tax, Audit, HR, and Legal. This role requires a dynamic, client-focused individual with proven experience in working with key suppliers globally and delivering end-to-end sourcing initiatives with a global market awareness.
Responsibilities
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders
- Leading assigned sourcing initiatives with minimal oversight
- Conducting market tenders and managing evaluations with a cross-functional team
- Understanding business requirements and structuring deals accordingly
- Negotiating deals to achieve optimal commercial terms
- Drafting contracts based on standard terms and conditions
- Maintaining market awareness for assigned categories and contributing to sourcing plans
- Adhering to corporate standards, using defined sourcing tools and processes
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to deliver savings and benefits
- Mentoring and coaching less experienced team members
Requirements
- Educated to University standard or equivalent
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in sourcing across specific categories
- Demonstrates proven market knowledge of Professional Services
- Proven capability of running large, complex global deals
- Hands-on approach for deal execution with minimal oversight
- Highly organized and results-driven
- Ability to lead a cross-functional team
- Client/stakeholder focus within a corporate environment
- Gravitas to influence senior stakeholders
- Experienced negotiator with excellent communication skills
- Ability to structure complex deals and develop sourcing strategies
- Experience in understanding contracts and contract drafting
- Ability to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines
