About the Role
Quant is establishing its US operations and seeking an Engagement Director to lead its platform for institutions where precision and trust are paramount. This role involves owning the client relationship and setting the operational direction for the US entity from their Manhattan office.
Responsibilities
- Set the operational direction and defend it when challenged by the client.
- Carry the commercial responsibility for the operation.
- Define how the operation runs, client expectations, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Experience running a delivery operation for a financial institution under a contract with stringent KPIs and SLAs.
- Accountability for a P&L.
- Credibility with both bank executives and engineers.
- Experience in regulated environments, including audit trails, examinations, and change control tested by external parties.
Skills
- Blockchain or distributed ledger exposure (useful, not essential).
- Payments, market infrastructure, or transaction banking experience (useful, not essential).
