About the Role
Quant is seeking an experienced Head of Security to establish and lead the security operations for their innovative chain platform, which handles regulated financial transactions. This role involves continuous detection and response, managing the certificate and PKI lifecycle, integrating threat intelligence, and performing transaction monitoring. You will collaborate closely with the reliability team during incidents and be responsible for building and proving the security model to stakeholders and regulators.
Responsibilities
- Manage continuous detection and response operations.
- Oversee the certificate and PKI lifecycle.
- Integrate threat intelligence into the platform's protective controls.
- Conduct transaction monitoring and on-chain analytics.
- Collaborate with the reliability team during security incidents.
- Establish and prove the security model to stakeholders and regulators.
Requirements
- Led security operations in financial services or another regulated industry.
- Built or managed a function with continuous coverage.
- Proficiency in distinguishing between an alert and a signal.
- Experience with PKI and certificate lifecycle management at scale.
- Experience producing evidence for a regulator.
