About the Role
Join our Application Security Circle within the IT Security unit, dedicated to protecting our online shop, corporate systems, and customers. In this role, you will hack internal systems and develop/implement security measures to safeguard our infrastructure, applications, and data. You will collaborate closely with other Security Engineers, Developers, and IT teams to ensure security best practices, automate security processes, and respond to emerging threats.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular penetration tests and code reviews.
- Advise on the setup and maintenance of applications and infrastructure (typically hosted in AWS/Kubernetes).
- Triage and respond to monitoring events.
- Optimize and automate security audit processes, including setting up attack infrastructure, writing scripts in Python, and implementing security scanning in GitLab CI.
- Participate in incident response activities within the SOC, including occasional 24/7 on-call duty.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in a junior position and a total of 2+ years of professional experience in Application Security.
- Solid knowledge of Threat Modeling, Penetration Testing, and manual Secure Code Reviews.
- Fluent in Python for security automation, tool development, and code analysis.
- Solid hands-on experience securing modern cloud environments (AWS or GCP).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical security projects, coordinate dependencies, and track results across cross-functional development teams.
