About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage the IT infrastructure operations and maintenance of core systems, specializing in SAP BASIS/MW/DB/Cloud/OS domains. This role involves client coordination, project and team management, quality and budget control, and designing operational services. You will also drive continuous service improvement through automation, shared services, offshore utilization, and the implementation of ITIL-compliant processes.
Responsibilities
- Operations and maintenance of the infrastructure layer for core systems.
- Project management, including client communication, quality control, personnel management, and budget management.
- Operational design, acceptance, and proposal/implementation of production operational services.
- Service improvement, including promotion of shared services, offshore utilization, and automation.
- Provision of ITIL-compliant operational services such as incident management, change management, and problem management.
- Broadly handle maintenance and operational tasks for middleware (MW), allowing for acquisition of extensive knowledge and further skill enhancement in the MW field.
- Engage in work leveraging over 30 years of expertise in infrastructure operations/maintenance technology and globally standardized processes.
Requirements
- Experience in server operations and maintenance in cloud environments.
- Experience in OS (especially Linux) operations and maintenance.
- Experience in operations and maintenance of middleware products, including SAP BASIS and Oracle DB.
- Understanding of ITIL-compliant operational services.
- Advanced business-level Japanese proficiency (ability to independently conduct meetings, presentations, and negotiations with clients and internal stakeholders).
- Basic business-level English proficiency (ability to engage in basic business communication and simple dialogue, utilizing translation tools as needed).
