About the Role
Shape the future of learning with us! The Montessori Stiftung Berlin is dedicated to vibrant, practical learning for children and adolescents, encouraging them to forge their own paths and actively shape a just, peaceful, and open society. The Montessori Campus Berlin Köpenick includes a toddler community, a children's house, an elementary school, and a lower secondary school for approximately 370 children and adolescents. We consistently implement Montessori principles across all age groups and continuously evolve within this framework, aiming to recognize and nurture the uniqueness of each child.
Responsibilities
- Co-responsibility for the educational, personnel, and organizational aspects of the institution.
- Leading and developing the pedagogical team.
- Creating an inspiring and mindful learning environment for children and the team.
- Ensuring and advancing Montessori pedagogy in daily practice.
- Communicating with the board, parents, authorities, and cooperation partners.
- Quality development and implementation of legal requirements.
Requirements
- Completed training as a state-recognized educator, childhood educator, social pedagogue, or equivalent.
- Leadership experience in a Montessori children's house.
- Identification with the values of Montessori pedagogy.
- Montessori diploma for the relevant age group.
- Willingness for further training.
- Empathetic, team-oriented, and reflective leadership personality.
- Organizational skills, strong communication, and sense of responsibility.
