About the Role

Shape the future of learning with us! The Montessori Stiftung Berlin is dedicated to fostering vibrant, practical learning for children and adolescents, encouraging them to forge their own paths and actively help shape a just, peaceful, and open society. The Montessori Campus Berlin Köpenick includes a toddler community, a children's house, an elementary school, and a lower secondary school for approximately 370 children and adolescents. Since this school year, the Montessori Oberstufe Berlin, founded in 2020, has also been part of our campus. The campus is also a recognized national and international Montessori training and observation center. We consistently implement the principles of Montessori education across all age groups and continuously develop within this framework. Our aim is to recognize and nurture the uniqueness of children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Pedagogical, personnel, and organizational co-responsibility for the institution
• Leadership and development of the pedagogical team
• Creation of an inspiring and mindful learning environment for children and the team
• Ensuring and further developing Montessori pedagogy in daily practice
• Communication with the sponsor, parents, authorities, and cooperation partners
• Quality development and implementation of legal requirements

Requirements

• Completed training as a state-recognized educator, childhood educator, social pedagogue, or equivalent
• Leadership experience at a Montessori children's house
• Identification with the values of Montessori pedagogy
• Montessori diploma for the respective age group
• Willingness for further training
• Empathetic, team-oriented, and reflective leadership personality
• Organizational skills, strong communication, and sense of responsibility
