About the Role

The CFO is responsible for the integrity of the financial information and custodian of shareholder value, encompassing financial data operations, accounting, financial reporting, actuarial reporting, expense management, capital management, investment accounting, and tax accounting. This division operates as a shared service for all entities in Australia and New Zealand.

Responsibilities

  • Administer corporate credit card expenses through Concur for upload to general ledger accounts.
  • Capture and record approved invoices for payment in Coupa through to the General Ledger.
  • Facilitate daily receipts and payments for all Munich Re Group entities in Australasia.
  • Attend to Payment Times Reporting to the regulator.
  • Attend to monthly bank reconciliations for all entities.
  • Maintain professional, courteous, and efficient working relationships with clients, bank staff, trade creditors, and auditors.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a high-volume expense administration or accounts payable role.
  • Experience working with the Concur expense management system, ideally with Processor or Administrator access.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Advanced bookkeeping skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Accounting degree.
