About the Role
Lead the entire lifecycle of infotainment products for Japanese OEMs, from initial sales engagement and technical concept development to mass production and post-launch support. This role offers significant ownership and decision-making authority over schedule, cost, and quality, acting as the primary point of contact and escalation for clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary customer contact and escalation point for infotainment products.
- Manage customer requirements, internal deployment, and decision-making for schedule, cost, and quality.
- Lead cross-functional development teams across the US, Mexico, India, China, and Japan.
- Oversee projects from initiation through mass production and post-launch maintenance.
- Collaborate with sales teams on business cases and technical concept development for new projects.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in technical program management or customer-facing engineering.
- Experience working with Japanese OEMs or their Tier 1 suppliers.
- Native-level Japanese proficiency.
- Business-level English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
