About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and bright candidates with customer service and network engineering backgrounds to support our network growth and ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires working quickly and carefully in a varied environment, providing support to customer service teams, provisioning services with field engineers, resolving issues with maintenance teams, configuring network equipment, and focusing on customer empathy.
Responsibilities
- Support Customer Services in troubleshooting customer issues.
- Provide second line support to customers where customer services were unable to solve their problem.
- Monitor network alarms and swiftly diagnose network faults.
- Direct and work alongside the Network Operations Engineering team and Passive Network Team to assist in resolving network faults.
- Provision new customers, ranging from residential fibre broadband to more complex business services.
- Be proactive and manage your own workload with minimal management oversight.
Requirements
- Experience in GPON, FTTH/FTTC is a must.
- University degree or equivalent experience of over 4 years.
- Over 2 years of experience working with an ISP.
- Over 3 years of experience working as a network engineer.
- CCNA required.
- Experience using network equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, or Adtran.
- Desire to work in an agile, start-up environment.
- Willingness to go the extra mile to support the delivery of a great customer experience.
- Be a self-starter.
- Be open, honest, and transparent.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Love learning and developing new skills.
