About the Role
You will design, implement, and maintain robust IT systems to enhance guest experiences and streamline operations. As an IT Manager, you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and execution of IT initiatives across multiple properties, ensuring alignment with area, cluster, and corporate objectives in collaboration with the Area Director of Technology Services
- Monitor, diagnose, and adjust performance on LAN and network servers while managing upgrades, directory structures, and preventive maintenance to optimize security, compliance, and system reliability
- Identify and implement solutions to user concerns related to personal computing, software applications, and network connectivity, providing training and support to ensure a seamless technology experience.
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Hilton Technology Network (HTN) standards and certification requirements, including managing shared technology resources and backup procedures
- Assist with the execution of major system implementations, including workstation and server refreshes, Wi-Fi, PBX, and point-of-sale installations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal operational disruption
- Work closely with property management to ensure smooth IT operations, maintain critical site systems, and troubleshoot issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team
Requirements
- Diploma Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft).
- Strong knowledge of hospitality systems and IT best practices.
- Leadership and project management skills.
- Experience with network administration, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication abilities.
