About the Role
This role involves managing a vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicle availability, operational safety, and proper condition. It also includes organizing vehicle handovers, returns, and damage checks, as well as coordinating maintenance, repairs, and detailing with workshops and service providers. The position requires leading and organizing the fleet team, planning tasks, and optimizing processes. Additionally, it involves reporting to sales management and collaborating with various departments, including logistics, rental, sales, and workshops, as well as coordinating damage claims, insurance matters, and vehicle transport.
Responsibilities
- Manage vehicle fleet, ensuring availability, operational safety, and proper condition.
- Organize and coordinate vehicle handovers and returns, checking for damage and condition.
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, detailing, and work with workshops and service providers.
- Provide professional and organizational leadership for the fleet team, planning tasks, and ensuring efficient operations.
- Actively drive new processes and regularly review and optimize existing ones.
- Report regularly to sales management and collaborate closely with dispatch, rental, sales, and workshops.
- Coordinate damage reports, insurance matters, and vehicle transport.
Requirements
- Experience in fleet management, ideally in car rental.
- Experience in team leadership or coordination.
- Organizational skills and a structured, independent work style.
- Technical understanding and a sense of responsibility.
- Strong communication skills, team spirit, and assertiveness.
- Valid Class B driver's license.
