About the Role

The Sales Director will have full Middle East territory responsibility, influencing and developing a high-impact sales team to create differentiated value for customers. This role requires a seasoned leader from the SaaS enterprise marketplace with proven software solution selling and fast-growth business success.

Responsibilities

  • Creates, implements, measures, and reviews strategic or operational plans to achieve business goals aligned with Ping strategy.
  • Utilizes territory planning, account plans, opportunity inspection, pipeline management, account reviews, and forecast calls.
  • Coaches the sales team on positioning and articulating Ping Identity’s value proposition to enterprise customers to increase average deal size.
  • Identifies and pursues opportunities to expand business activities within the area of responsibility.
  • Leverages GSIs and other partners to source, develop, and progress business.
  • Plans and controls expenses associated with the area of responsibility.
  • Establishes working relationships with external parties to achieve business goals.
  • Ensures effective use of and conformance to standard business practices and tools, including SFDC.
  • Communicates Ping Identity’s vision and aligns team and personal goals to achieve business results.
  • Provides direction, guidance, mentoring, and development for the field team.
  • Promotes cross-functional collaboration and teamwork.
  • Recruits, builds, and develops the team to deliver business results.
  • Drives the performance review and development planning process.
  • Builds relationships with customers and provides customer escalation management for problem resolution.
  • Supports customer relationship management and drives initiatives to improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading sales teams focused on the Middle East territory.
  • Expertise in enterprise software, SaaS, managed services, and strategic account management.
  • Results-oriented with multiple years meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Flexibility to travel to the Middle East region.
  • Experience transitioning a team from on-prem to SaaS solutions.
  • Adept at working in a fast-growing global organization.
  • Good interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships across the organization.
  • Established multi-vertical C-level contacts in large enterprise customers.
  • Established partner/SI network and experience working with partners on projects.
