About the Role

Trackman is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead their Professional business in Japan. This role is critical for shaping the company's growth by developing the sales organization, strengthening customer partnerships, and delivering outstanding business results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a commercial organization of approximately 10 employees through three direct reports consisting of Sales Managers and Key Account Managers.
  • Create a high-performance, customer-first sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the commercial strategy and overall sales performance across the Professional business.
  • Personally manage strategic customer relationships and support complex negotiations with key accounts.
  • Coach sales managers and teams through pipeline reviews, opportunity planning and customer engagement.
  • Work closely with the team in the field to accelerate sales opportunities and remove commercial obstacles.
  • Develop sales strategies that increase market share and expand Trackman's presence throughout Japan.
  • Build long-term partnerships with indoor golf facilities, equipment manufacturers, club fitters, teaching professionals and tour organizations.
  • Use CRM tools such as Salesforce to drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline management and sales excellence.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Support, Product Management and Global Sales teams to execute commercial initiatives.
  • Represent Trackman at industry events, trade shows and customer meetings.

Requirements

  • Native Japanese with business-level English communication skills.
  • Proven experience leading successful B2B sales teams and developing future sales leaders.
  • Demonstrated success delivering ambitious revenue targets.
  • Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to spend significant time with customers and the sales team.
  • Experience working within an international company or matrix organization.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform to drive forecasting, pipeline management and sales excellence.
  • Passion for technology and innovation.
  • Passion for golf, with industry experience considered a strong advantage.
