About the Role
As a Junior Consultant, you will contribute to a wide range of projects serving the Financial Sponsor community, supporting clients throughout the transaction lifecycle. This role offers the potential to build a robust presence and reputation among the investor community, with commercial flexibility for personal development and growth.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business data
- Conduct market and competitive positioning studies
- Perform strategic and/or operational diagnostics
- Lead interviews
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations
- Actively participate in creating and delivering workshops
Requirements
- 1-2 years of work experience in strategy consulting, ideally in transactions (e.g., consulting, investment banking)
- Experience in value creation (top line growth and bottom-line performance improvement) and working with Financial Sponsor clients (e.g., Private Equity, Private Credit, Infrastructure Funds)
- Outstanding graduate or postgraduate academic credentials from a leading academic institution
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent English language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven analytical, financial modelling, commercial, creative, and narrative skills
- Combines analytical thinking with the use of digital tools, enthusiasm for utilizing innovative, AI-based solutions, and ability to effectively apply new technologies and data skills to complex issues
- Appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and willingness to travel
- Australian citizen or possess Australian residency
