About the Role

This role involves the commissioning of devices for immunohistochemistry and in-situ hybridization, as well as preparing and conducting on-site customer training. You will also be involved in complaint processing for IHC and ISH products, developing and optimizing protocols, and managing incoming goods for IHC/ISH automats. Additionally, you will answer product-specific questions and provide phone and on-site support for troubleshooting in the fields of IHC, ISH, and molecular pathology.

Responsibilities

Commissioning of devices for immunohistochemistry and in-situ hybridization.
Preparation and execution of device training at customer sites.
Involvement in complaint processing for IHC and ISH products.
Development and optimization of immunohistological/molecular biological protocols and methods for customers.
Responsibility for incoming goods and verification of proper commissioning of IHC/ISH automats.
Answering product-specific questions regarding IHC, ISH, and molecular pathology products and devices.
Providing phone and on-site customer support for troubleshooting in IHC, ISH, and molecular pathology.

Requirements

Completed vocational training (e.g., MTA, BTA, CTA, Biotechnician, Biology Lab Assistant) or comparable qualifications.
Practical experience in immunohistochemistry (manual and/or automated) and in performing molecular pathology methods.
Ideally, experience in evaluating immunohistochemical stains.
Strong technical understanding.
Native-level German language skills and very good English skills.
Structured, goal-oriented, and independent work style with a desire for professional and personal development.
Customer-oriented approach and proficiency in customer communication.
Willingness to travel 2-3 days per month for customer visits.
Possession of a Class B driver's license.
