About the Role
ACCIONA Infrastructure is expanding its Origination team in NSW, seeking a Senior Estimating Manager to lead cost estimation for major road, rail, water, and energy projects. This role involves developing competitive and accurate estimates, collaborating with engineering and commercial teams, and influencing bid strategy from early assessment to submission.
Responsibilities
- Lead cost estimates for major infrastructure tenders
- Manage multiple bids concurrently under tight deadlines
- Direct quantity take-offs and cost forecasting
- Review subcontractor and supplier quotes for accuracy
- Develop estimating strategy in collaboration with commercial and engineering teams
- Present estimate outcomes to senior leadership
- Maintain and enhance estimating tools and methodology
Requirements
- Significant experience estimating major infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of first-principles estimating methods
- Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent bids
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
