About the Role

Work with Klarna's largest and most strategic merchants to uncover growth opportunities and deliver scalable, value-driven solutions across our partner ecosystem. Take full ownership of your portfolio, building and nurturing executive-level relationships while driving commercial outcomes that advance Klarna's position in the market. Identify opportunities to deepen partner engagement and translate merchant needs into actionable strategies that deliver measurable impact. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams across product, marketing, and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic partner or merchant relationships.
  • Engage and present confidently to C-level and senior executive stakeholders.
  • Build and analyze P&Ls.
  • Translate financial insights into strategic partner recommendations.
  • Structure and close complex commercial agreements.
  • Create and lead effective business reviews that drive accountability and identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships across industries and seniority levels.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, account management, or sales.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing strategic partner or merchant relationships.
  • Proven ability to engage and present confidently to C-level and senior executive stakeholders.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, or payments, with a strong understanding of how these ecosystems intersect.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and partners simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward independently in a dynamic, fast-evolving environment.
  • Strong leadership instincts with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in building and analyzing P&Ls.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience structuring and closing complex commercial agreements.
  • Proven ability to create and lead effective business reviews that drive accountability and identify growth opportunities.
  • A natural networker with the ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships across industries and seniority levels.
