About the Role

As an Event Planning Executive, you will coordinate and manage meetings, incentives, exhibition groups, social events, and weddings. You will support and guide clients from arrival to departure, including final account settlement. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building client relationships and understanding their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all enquiries professionally, demonstrating a high level of care and customer service for events up to 250 delegates.
  • Actively convert catering-only enquiries into confirmed catering events through effective call control and upselling.
  • Manage day-to-day event administration, including sending proposals within 24 hours, preparing BEOs, and settling final accounts.
  • Develop and foster future and repeat business opportunities.
  • Attend internal and interdepartmental meetings as required.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with key departments including Sales, Events Service, Revenue & Group Reservations, Engineering, and Culinary.

Requirements

  • Prior experience at a similar level in a Hotel or hospitality venue.
  • Background with weddings and socials is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pride in personal presentation and grooming.
  • Drive to develop a career within the Event Planning industry.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Availability to work full-time onsite Monday to Friday.
