About the Role
The Venue Manager will report to the F&B Operations Manager and be responsible for the entire venue operation of Sokyo in partnership with the Executive Chef, ensuring a positive and exciting environment where flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount. This role is pivotal in shaping the success of our award-winning restaurant and elevating dining experiences at The Star Sydney.
Responsibilities
- Deliver impeccable standards of professionalism and demonstrate commitment to guest and team experience.
- Build a guest culture to continuously deliver a thrilling experience in line with The Star’s Values.
- Manage day-to-day operations, meeting the quality, standards, and expectations of our guests.
- Review and analyse the daily operational needs maintaining beverage, labour, product and expenses on budget.
- Attract and develop talent and own the performance of your team.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to develop large teams including succession planning, retention, and growth strategies.
- Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management, controlling labour costs and operating expenses.
- Experience in developing productive relationships and managing and driving change.
- Experience in managing high-end award-winning restaurants, bars, or outlet.
- Flexible availability to meet the demands of a 24/7 business.
