About the Role

Sell BMS Solutions to New End Users across London and the South-East, focusing on the Energy Crisis, Modernisation, and Sustainability benefits. Build relationships with Estates Managers, Commercial Teams, and C-Suite contacts to establish a customer base. Receive support from Tendering Engineers, Services, Projects, and Commercial teams to finalize sales.

Responsibilities

  • Create new leads and acquire new customers through cold outreach or warm contacts from other Business Units or Line of Business contacts.
  • Drive growth in End User Accounts and generate new business to achieve monthly order targets of approximately £300k, aligning with forecasts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely approval, release, and recognition of orders in SAP, adhering to QMS Delegation of Authority.
  • Integrate with Service and Operations teams, sharing project information and gathering insights to foster close working relationships and proactively resolve potential customer issues.
  • Pitch technical systems to diverse customers, developing BMS solutions that meet customer needs, infrastructure requirements, and align with the product portfolio, with an emphasis on upselling Connected Services and increasing Width of Wallet.
  • Manage and communicate account progress and opportunity pipelines to the Regional Sales Manager and Global Team through regular CRM reporting and weekly meetings.

Requirements

  • Approximately 5 years of sales or delivery experience in BMS or adjacent technology.
  • Sound business judgment and a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Personable demeanor with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in 2 or more of the following sales skills: Consultative Selling, Account Management, Solutions Sales, Storytelling, C-Suite Strategy, and Customer Dialogue.
  • Ability to articulate the BMS offer, its connection to EcoStruxure, Software, Service, Sustainability, and Digitisation.
  • Capability to understand Tender Specifications and Drawings and create a Points List.
  • Understanding of typical End User Customers and the ability to develop a value proposition and target plan across specific BMS Markets and Segments.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Technical understanding of traditional BMS and HVAC Control with an appreciation for future BMS positioning.
  • Experience working in an Engineering or Construction environment.
  • Existing network within the industry.
