About the Role
WFS is seeking a proactive and innovative Learning and Development Specialist to shape and deliver the company's learning and development strategy. This role aims to foster a culture of continuous learning to improve employee performance, engagement, and drive high standards of competence. It's an exciting opportunity for individuals skilled in training and coaching, passionate about driving change, and experienced in designing and delivering learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality security training at all levels as a CAA Approved Avsec Instructor, creating high performing screeners.
- Provide engaging and effective delivery of all classroom training and induction sessions.
- Develop and deliver a best-in-class training and assessment program aligned with Work Instructions and mandatory requirements for all Warehouse and Office functions.
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders and utilize data-driven insights to identify training needs.
- Ensure all training content is reviewed and updated in line with regulatory or business changes.
- Work closely with the Digital Learning Developer to provide content and learning objectives for e-learning creation.
- Create and deliver a program of competency-based assessments.
- Monitor and evaluate learning programs and their effectiveness, implementing improvements as needed.
- Conduct training needs analysis based on performance reviews and business needs, designing learning pathway solutions.
Requirements
- Must be a CAA Approved Avsec Instructor (CIN).
- Possess a relevant qualification in Education and Training.
- Exceptional training and coaching skills.
- Enthusiastic communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Experience in defining, designing, and delivering learning requirements and recommending solutions.
- A drive to set high standards, achieve results, and bring new thinking and fresh concepts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A drive for change processes and enjoyment of challenges.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Subject to background check, including criminal record check, 5-year employment history, and drug & alcohol test.
