About the Role
Provide direct on-site service, including preventive maintenance, emergency service, and installation support for Bayer Radiology Equipment. The role is responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and contributing to Bayer Radiology business objectives. Sales skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations at customer sites using approved Bayer procedures and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and repair technical and complex equipment using available resources.
- Organize daily work schedule and coordinate with territory teammates for efficient operations.
- Maintain mobile inventory, re-ordering as needed to maximize equipment up-time and minimize failures.
- Generate service revenue through promotion of Service Programs and Billable services.
- Collaborate with Territory Service Inside Sales teammates to prepare and develop service quotes and follow through to completion of sales.
- Communicate with end-user customers, purchasing agents, and asset managers to finalize sales.
- Complete work orders accurately to ensure customer billing aligns with company policy.
- Generate sales leads and communicate them to respective sales representatives for new product or upgrade opportunities.
- Maintain company car, assigned calibrated tools, and special equipment.
- Safeguard proprietary information from non-Bayer personnel.
- Build and maintain key working relationships with customers, healthcare professionals, dealers, and internal Bayer teams.
- Foster an inclusive environment of professionalism and safe working practices, ensuring Safety and Compliance requirements are met or exceeded.
Requirements
- Willingness to acquire and use sales skills.
- Extensive travel (40,000 to 60,000 driving kilometers per year).
- Ability to work in a healthcare environment with potential exposure to contaminated products, X-rays, and MRI magnetic fields.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (over 30lbs).
- Willingness to work approximately 50 hours per week, including on-call duty after regular business hours and weekends.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
- Ability to prioritize, schedule, and organize own work activities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office product suite.
- Exhibited ability to use company-specific workforce and customer relationship management software.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory and nationally, including overnight and extended periods.
- Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours to support a 24/7 schedule.
- Able to lift and/or push over 30 pounds.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for long periods of time.

Salary/Compensations
- $66,560 - $99,840 (base salary)
- $82,200 - $123,300 (Total Direct Compensation including performance-based compensation)
