About the Role
As an Assistant Manager at Cucina Porto, you will report directly to the Venue Manager, leading a team to deliver daily operations. This role offers the opportunity to create unique guest experiences, provide excellent care, and lead a dynamic team with integrity.
Responsibilities
- Assist Venue Manager to lead and support achievement of financial and operational targets.
- Oversee operational functions including rostering, standard operating procedures, training, and performance management.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of service standards and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol program and relevant Liquor Act provisions.
- Assist in managing the selection, training, and development of employees for timely recruitment and career growth.
Requirements
- Management experience in a similar large, busy environment with thorough food and beverage knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products.
- Proven performance management skills.
- Experience controlling labor costs and operating expenses.
- Exceptional guest service skills with a proactive attitude.
- Natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests.
- Current RSA Statement of Attainment.
- Flexible availability for work over a 7-day roster.
