About the Role
This role offers the chance to shape Evolution's cyber security architecture capability across both corporate IT and operational technology (OT) environments. Reporting to the Enterprise Architecture Lead, you will provide architecture leadership and security guidance across enterprise technology initiatives, operational systems, and major projects. You will collaborate with architects, technology teams, operational stakeholders, and business leaders to embed security into technology design, governance, and decision-making. This position involves building and maturing cyber architecture practices, influencing long-term technology strategy, and enhancing Evolution's security posture while supporting safe and reliable operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Evolution's cyber security architecture framework.
- Define security standards, principles, and design patterns for IT and OT environments.
- Partner with architects, engineers, and operational stakeholders to embed security into solution design.
- Assess security risks and ensure appropriate controls are incorporated into technology initiatives.
- Support architecture governance activities and Architecture Review Board processes.
- Provide expert guidance on cyber security strategy, threat management, and technology risk.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security architecture, standards, and practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to technology and business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience designing and implementing secure IT and OT environments.
- Strong understanding of cyber security architecture, risk management, and governance.
- Experience assessing security risks and embedding security controls into technology solutions.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across technical and operational environments.
- Experience working with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and business leaders.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
