About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an intelligent and motivated Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing Financial Lines, Director's & Officer's practice in Sydney. The role involves handling complex financial lines, professional indemnity, construction and engineering, director and officers (D&O) matters, warranty and indemnity (W&I), and provides coverage and dispute resolution services to corporate and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Handling complex financial lines, professional indemnity, construction and engineering, director and officers (D&O) matters, warranty and indemnity (W&I).
- Providing coverage and dispute resolution services to corporate and commercial clients locally, nationally and internationally.
- Working closely on market leading matters within the team.
- Being heavily involved in all aspects of matters.
- Driving and making a significant contribution to matter outcomes within a supportive environment.
Requirements
- Between 2-4 years' experience as an Associate.
- General insurance litigation, financial lines, professional indemnity, and director and officers (D&O) experience is preferred.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Self-driven with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
- Commercial awareness and confidence in building rapport with clients.
- Ability to gain a better understanding of client business needs.
- Ability to actively develop client relationships with partner assistance.
